Optimizing Biofuel Supply Chains in the California Context
Beginning Summer 2007 with funding from Chevron Technology Ventures
Project Description
A comparative analysis of different biofuel production and delivery pathways in the “real-world” context of California’s biomass supply and population. The analysis will be enabled by the development of biofuel supply chain economic optimization models. In addition to economics, the fuel pathways will be evaluated on greenhouse gas emissions, petroleum displacement, and criteria pollutant emissions.
